Seasons Gaugings! From everyone at D/Gauge, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It's been a phenomenal year, none of which would be possible without your ongoing support.
Thanks for your support in 2021. Here are some of our proudest achievements and celebrations.
Full steam ahead: Over 150 projects were completed across 2021, with no signs of slowing down. From rolling stock introductions to probabilistic pantograph gauging, thank you for trusting D/Gauge with your gauging requirements.
Thank you to over 300 of our railway family members for joining us in June for the launch of our brand new clearance assessment software for Track designers. The industry has responded extremely well to D/Gauge Rift and we are pleased to have won 'Highly Commended' at the Railway Industry Awards and the RIA Railway Industry Supplier Excellence Awards.
D/Gauge Rift is now fully available and being used within the industry, so please reach out directly or visit the website to find out more or schedule a demo.
Our electrification team is busier than ever, assisting with crucial projects at feasibility and design phases across the country. Over 2021 we have been awarded some exciting and prestigious contracts, so stay tuned for exciting updates in the new year.
This year we have expanded our pantograph electrification services to offer probabilistic gauging, a methodology that D/Gauge are world-class in providing. We're proud to be doing our bit to achieve rail decarbonisation, thanks to you and look forward to supporting on more electrification projects in the new year.
As our workload and our capabilities have expanded, so has our team! D/Gauge consultancy and software teams have grown in size: to continue offering excellent service and unmatched innovation. We are sure you will help to welcome our new team members and are excited for further growth in 2022.
Our technical support teams will be away from 23rd December - 4th January, as we enjoy our Christmas and New Year break. If you have any pending support queries please endeavour to send them in as soon as possible.
Engineer support will break up on 24th December - will be available from 29-31st December, then return on the 4th January. We have a skeleton team available should any projects need urgent attention in between these dates, and will be happy to help.
This Christmas, D/Gauge have chose to donate and raise further awareness of two charities close to our heart. The current pandemic makes their work even more challenging, so it fills us with Christmas cheer to help and support them.
Railway Children
The Railway Children charity does some fantastic work for vulnerable children across the UK, India and East Africa. They provide protection and opportunity for children with nowhere else to go and nobody to turn to.
Birmingham Childrens Hospital
Birmingham Childrens Hospital uses vital funds for state-of-the-art equipment, pioneering research and exciting, creative environments to ensure that our children continue to receive the world-class care that they all deserve.
