As a leading provider of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) and Consultancy services, TUV Rheinland was thrilled to welcome over 60 delegates from various sectors of the rail industry.
TRAKO, now in its fourteenth year, continues to shine as a prestigious rail event, fostering innovation and knowledge sharing in the field of rail transportation. This year's private event put the spotlight on Gauge Clearance, a critical topic in the rail industry. Delegates dove into insightful discussions, exploring cutting-edge solutions and the challenges and opportunities surrounding gauge clearance.
TÜV Rheinland, staying true to its commitment to innovation, unveiled a suite of new services tailored specifically for the Polish market. D/Gauge, the latest subsidiary of TÜV Rheinland, showcased our expertise in gauging and clearance topics, offering consultancy and software designed to protect assets and people.
The event served as a melting pot of experts, stakeholders, and professionals from across the rail industry, fostering meaningful exchange and collaboration. With representatives from both the Polish and European rail sectors, TRAKO 2023 was a truly international gathering that sparked valuable connections and partnerships.
Pawel Chachurski, Local Field Manager at TÜV Rheinland, shared his delight at the event's success. "TRAKO 2023 provided a unique platform to discuss critical issues in the rail industry and showcase TUV Rheinland's commitment to providing innovative solutions," he said.
D/Gauge Managing Director Colin Johnson added "TRAKO was a very well organised- well attended event, and primarily it gave us the opportunity to learn about the challenges that European railways are facing, where gauging can support help. The room was filled with a mixture of freight and passenger colleagues, and it was a true exhibition of all things clearance. We were especially grateful to have delivered this presentation in Polish, to ensure the complex engineering involved in making gauging decisions was explored and understood. We look forward to visiting TRAKO again and continuing to work with our TÜV Rheinland colleagues."
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the delegates who participated, as well as the Polish and European representatives who contributed to the event's resounding success. Their active participation and insightful contributions were instrumental in making TRAKO 2023 a triumph. Here's to many more successful events in the future!
